A weekend-to-weekend velo-adventure! Shift into a new gear for nine glorious days on the open road, digging into food issues with your hands and mind. Open to anyone 18 and over, or “nearly 18” with guardian’s accompaniment (last season tour members ranged from 22 to 67).

Satiate your desire to know where your food comes from. Join a team that will explore the foodscape of Eastern Ontario from the saddles of your bikes - meet with farmers, dig into fieldwork and satisfy your appetite for local ingredients. Taste your way into a gut level knowledge of the local food system. Gain valuable bike touring and maintenance skills. This learning tour leaves you with new friends, new recipes and the inspiration to take an active part in your local food system.
Apply by March 1st for a reduced rate. Final deadline is June 1st.
