Otesha's Olumni have already gone on to start some great projects in years past. Check out the video's here for a few of their stories!

Here is Mike's Story

After travelling to Africa in his youth and participating in Otesha's 2007 Sunshine Coast tour, Mike felt a growing desire to understand his food and how to grow it. He moved to Ottawa and interned on an organic farm, traveled on his bicycle and volunteered at other farms, and now runs his own: Steel Pony farm in Alberta.

Here is Jawn's Story

After being inspired travelling in his youth and as a member of the 2007 Sunshine Coast tour, Jawn set out to do something for himself, and also for the betterment of his community. The founder of Hub City Cycles co-op in Nanaimo B.C., Jawn has created a community cycling hub, where cyclists can go to learn about bike repair, buy new and used bikes, bike parts, and connect with other cyclists in the city!
