Adventures with the Otesha Superheroes (Aug 3rd - Aug 9th)

AFTER biking 30km in the heat, battling smog, exhaust, and 40 degree weather, the Otesha superheroes arrive at Menestung United Church Camp.  There they exchange thoughts, dreams, and concerns with the staff over a late night snack.

With the arrival of morning the superheroes take off through the rain, their capes whipping in the wind as they cycle on to reach Point Farms Provincial Park.  Spectacular events take place in a centuries old barn, where echos of laughter and enthusiam ring loud over the rain.  Creative energies soar while people of all ages make books, play jenga-otesha style, and spin poi.

But Wait! Where could the Otesha superheroes be heading now?

Bayfield my dear friend.  At Huron Church Camp experimentation with a brand new performance yields smiles and laughter,  Hooray!

over the next few days...

Celebrations and relaxation are had hanging out at Paula's cottage and dancing it up great lakes style at the celtic festival in Goderich.

next stop->Pinery Provincial Park. An outdoor theatre, beautiful bike trails and sandy beaches, make for a sweet stay!

The superheroes are London bound stopping at Lambton United Church Camp and Camp Craig Riding Camp hanging out with the campers, playing games, chillin' with the horses...and biking long distances through farmland and small towns.

Currently in London the superheroes are at Paula's house, washing their capes and taking a rest [thanks to Bryan + Susan : ) ].

During their adventure along Lake Huron there were times when the Otesha Superheroes could not swim in the water due to high levels of E. coli from agricultural run off.

Where does the future of the great lakes lie???
