We are pleased to announce that The Otesha Project has been granted five paid internship positions through the Youth Eco Internship Program. This project is a collaboration between the YMCA and YWCA Canada, with funding provided by the Government of Canada's Economic Action Plan.

Click on the job title for full position description and details on how to apply. Selected applicants will work at the Otesha office full time for a period of four to nine months.

The following internships will be offered at The Otesha Project:

Programs Intern - 6 months

You’re eligible for this internship if you are:
  • A non-graduate or a high school graduate
  • Between the ages of 15 and 30
  • Unemployed
  • A Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a person to whom refugee protection has been granted under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada and Ontario
